Botho University is taking significant steps towards protecting the environment through the theme “Invest in Our Planet”. By installing solar panels on our rooftops, we generate 36% of our power from clean energy sources, reducing our carbon footprint and providing reliable and sustainable energy for our campus.
We are also committed to sustainable water usage by providing clean drinking water from chilled water stations and eliminating single-use plastic bottles. In addition, our water management systems in washrooms use water efficiently, resulting in an impressive 80% reduction in water usage.
Our actions show that we are dedicated to a greener and more sustainable future, contributing to a healthier planet. At Botho University, we are committed to being responsible global citizens. Happy Earth Day!
