On November 3, 2023, Botho University hosted a dinner in collaboration with the Lesotho Chamber of Commerce, aiming to strengthen collaborative ties and foster relationships. The gathering provided an opportunity to familiarize the Chamber with the diverse programmes offered by the university, ensuring alignment with the specific needs of Lesotho.
Mr. Golekanye Setume, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, External Relations and Lesotho, delivered an address during the event, highlighting Botho University’s impressive 26-year journey as a Botswana multinational dedicated to transformative education. With a significant 97% ownership by Botswana citizens, the institution is led by industry veterans, former BICA Presidents, and esteemed educators.
With an investment exceeding 400 million Pula, Botho University operates across four faculties in five countries, offering a comprehensive suite of over 50 programmes. Accredited in five African countries and endorsed by the African Union AQRM, the university proudly holds ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Botho University, Lesotho Campus, was established in 2015 with a 73 million Maloti investment in a new campus, that specialises in faculties such as Engineering and Technology, Business and Accounting, and Health and Education.
