    SRC Leadership Training


    Representative Council (SRC) Leadership Training on the 8th of April 2022 at Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino. The training was conducted by Young Minds Africa for capacity building of the SRC for resuming their respective duties diligently and using the skills beyond the SRC Office. The training covered topics such as self-awareness, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    The new SRC President, Sophie Kegaisamang, who studies BSc (Hons) in Finance, has moved through the ranks in her three years in the university, representing students as Minister of Justice, Security and Infrastructure, Secretary-General, and now the SRC President. Kegaisamang intends to come up with initiatives to bridge the gap between students, SRC members, and university management during her tenure. She further noted that the COVID-19 pandemic affected the interaction of students within the campus, and she would like to see more fun and engaging environment. Kegaisamang also noted the importance of addressing Mental Health amongst students by starting a club.
