    Botho University continues its activities to mark its 25th Anniversary, on Friday 22nd April 2022, it was a special reception for the key stakeholder, the media. Botho University Senior Management and media graced the momentous occasion from different outlets: Botswana Television (BTV), Botswana Press Agency (BOPA), The Voice, Mmegi, Botswana Gazette, The Patriot on Sunday, Sunday Standard, Botswana Guardian, The WeekendPost, INK24, RB1 & 2, Gabz FM, and Yarona FM.

    Botho University Vice-Chancellor Dr Sheela Raja Ram highlighted how the 25th Anniversary was more about maturity and the transformational change of investing in high-quality education in her welcome remarks. She beamed with pride as she shared how BU started as a single discipline IT-focused institution in the Main Mall to now a strong multi-disciplinary University offering Diplomas, Degrees, and Masters, which are industry-relevant.

    She noted an exciting project underway of building a custom campus in Lesotho, and BU plans to extend its horizons in Ghana. Dr Raja Ram further shared how at the heart of BU is making an impact on communities hence the ability to produce industry-ready graduates who benefit from activities such as foreign exchange programmes, student internships, and work-integrated learning.

    At the event, The BU Community Initiative was launched to formalise all the community services entrenched in BU’s roots. This Initiative will support student scholarships, graduate entrepreneurial support, community development projects and research projects to address community development.

    The 25th Anniversary will be a year-long of impactful activities to celebrate with Bu stakeholders from across the board:

    9. A high-level event involving dignitaries from other countries where BU has a presence
