Department of Assessment & Registry hosted the Deans Award Ceremony on the 15th February 2022 to celebrate the academic excellence of students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5/4 for the period July to December 2021. The awards ceremony will see 280 students recognised for academic excellence for the past semester across all faculties.

The series of the events started with the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) whom the Department of Assessment & Registry indicated that the FET department results were really impressive for the semester.

Dean of FET, Professor Doss encouraged the students that good academic standing will enable them to have a high possibility of securing scholarships for further studies. Hence, the Dean’s Award was a huge milestone and a testimony to their hard work, commitment and dedication. He further asked the students to understand that the Dean’s Award is not the end but they need to keep improving and growing academically.
