    Destination success boot camp

    Students & Alumni Affairs Department (SAAD), in partnership with Human Resources Professionals Society Botswana, successfully hosted a programme called Destination Success Boot Camp from the 11th to the 14th of October 2022 at the Gaborone Campus. The programme’s goal was to increase both students and recent graduates’ job development skills.

    The practical and engaging programme was led by SAAD Team and HR Professionals from the programme partner, Human Resources Professionals Society Botswana. Destination Success Boot Camp covered a wide variety of topics, including understanding values & principles, team dynamics, difficult conversations and skills mapping.

    Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor – Employability and Technology, Mrs Aravinda Ram, commended the students for attending the three-day workshop in large numbers and implored them to now go back and reflect on the learnings. She emphasised that BU was committed to sustainability and moving away from paper hence the students will get Digital Badges and e-certificates for their participation.
