On the 08th of August 2023, Botho University (BU) joined Nata Senior Secondary School to provide aid in the wake of a devastating fire that swept through the boys’ hostel. In a heartwarming gesture, BU donated Blankets and Stationery to help the affected students . The University believes in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another in times of need.
Beyond the confines of the classroom, BU’s dedication to creating a meaningful influence remains unwavering. We take immense pride in joining forces with Nata Senior Secondary School in the face of these testing circumstances. These endeavors epitomise our fundamental principle of effecting change through community-driven initiatives.
The event was graced by the Deputy Director of Central Region (Ministry of Education and Skills Development), Mr. O.R. Kedikilwe, Mr. G.S. Chakalisa, Headmaster of Nata Senior Secondary School, Members of the PTA, including the PTA Regional Chairperson, Mr. Rodgers Nonyane and Pro Vice-Chancellor, (External Relations and Lesotho Campus), Mr. Golekanye Setume from Botho University.
