BOTHO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SET TO ATTEND WORLD TOURISM FORUM 2019

The Faculty of Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism welcomed the New Year with the exciting news that two of their final year students have been selected as part of the 12 finalists of the Young Talent Programme 2019, for the World Tourism Forum Lucerne in Switzerland.  The two, Kesego Obona Masedi and Senatla Courageous Gabobofane, are set to leave for Switzerland to attend the 3-day forum from the 1st to the 3rd of May 2019 where they will take part in activities such making a poster presentation of their research results, partaking in Career Development workshops with Korn Ferry Recruitment Company, as well as attend various workshops.

The two underwent a rigourous application process to be selected by the academic committee of the World Tourism Forum Lucerne, which included submitting abstracts of their final year research papers before selection for an early round of judging. Thereafter Kesego and Senatla took a Learning Agility assessment and placed in the final selection along with 10 other finalists from various universities all over the world.
