What is this about?

The course objective is to obtain the skills necessary to apply and implement technical knowledge of operating systems and network technologies. The student will gain knowledge of major networking technologies, skills, systems and tools used in the day to day operations of modern network environments. This course will prepare the student to take the CompTIA Network+ Certification exam.

CompTIA A+ Essentials

What is this about?

The course will prepare learners for the two CompTIA A+ certification exams: CompTIA A+ 220-801 and CompTIA A+ 220-802. Both CompTIA A+ 220-801 and CompTIA A+ 220-802 examinations measure necessary competencies for an entry-level IT professional with the equivalent knowledge of at least 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field. Successful candidates will have the knowledge required to assemble components based on customer requirements, install, configure and maintain devices, PCs and software for end users, understand the basics of networking and security/forensics, and properly and safely diagnose, resolve and document common hardware and software issues while applying troubleshooting skills. Successful candidates will also provide appropriate customer support and understand the basics of virtualization, desktop imaging, and deployment.
